Dr. Desiderio (Desi) Avila, Jr. is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in male infertility, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, and urological robotic surgery. After graduating from Princeton University, Dr. Avila attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he finished as one of its top graduates. He completed his general surgery internship and urological surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Scott Department of Urology, at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Avila then completed a fellowship in reproductive medicine, microsurgery, and fertility at the Texas Medical Center / Baylor Clinic in Houston.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Avila enjoys swimming, cycling, running, and spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
